Capsule x New Balance MT580 “Canadian Tuxedo” [PHOTOS]

These are mean and vicious, man. After showings some favoritism to silhouettes in their 990 and 1500 seriesNew Balance takes longtime followers of the brand back to the MT580 via a collaboration with Toronto’s Capsule.

The shoe itself is a marvelously designed piece built for full functionality and comfort. Credit that, in part, to a thicker midsole with the patented “Rollbar” technology. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg in this case. Putting it plainly, Capsule and New Balance outdid themselves.

Coined the “Canadian Tuxedo,” the kicks don a denim upper that range wash. The red N logo on the side and leather tab on the tongue perfectly contrast with the shoe’s white midsole and gum sole. Grey trimming in the inside lining make the cypher complete. We might as well hand over our money now.

The Capsule x New Balance MT580 “Canadian Tuxedo” releases exclusively at the Capsule store on Saturday, August 9. Look for the kicks to impact in other stores in the States soon after. See flicks on the following pages.

This aint for me. I love the leather classic one though. But I don’t think they sell those anymore. Don’t know why! I can never find them. I wonder if NB didn’t like the *black* demographic that was buying them up….didn’t like the brand image?? Who knows, but if it’s selling, why stop making them?
