Taraji P. Henson snagged herself an Emmy nomination this morning (July 14) for her role as Cookie Lyon on Empire. Henson is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

The 44-year-old Washington D.C. native’s Emmy competition is pretty serious with Viola Davis (How To Get Away With Murder), Claire Daines (Homeland), Elizabeth Moss (Mad Men), Robin Wright (House of Cards), and Tatania Maslany (Orphan Black).

This one could go either way, but Henson seems to be the front runner just based on Empire’s success, what her character means to the show, and how big it is on social media.

Other nominees include Anthony Anderson, Bey & Jay, Don Cheadle, Queen Latifah,  Louis C.K., David Oyelowo, Amy Schumer, and more.

The 67th Annual Emmy Awards air Sept. 20 on Fox,  and will be hosted by Saturday Night Live alum, Andy Sanmberg.
