Jaden Smith has been marching to the beat of his own drum for some time now, so his latest venture shouldn’t surprise many. The budding fashion icon was revealed as the new face of Louis Vuitton for its womenswear line.

Smith, 17, turned heads in 2015 for proudly wearing a skirt and shattering gender norms. In the Louis Vuitton print ad, Smith modeled a skirt for the company’s womenswear Spring/Summer campaign. Smith posted a photo of the shoot for the ad via his Instagram, which was mostly met with soaring praise along with some scathing criticism.

“Thank You So Much @louisvuitton And @nicolasghesquiere For The Opportunity To Impact This World,” wrote Smith in the caption for his Instagram post. In the past hour, the post has gained nearly 25, 000 likes.

Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, also posted photos of the shoot, introducing Smith as part of the  SS16 Louis Vuitton womenswear campaign. Amazingly, the two photos that Ghesquière posted have been active for a day now and just share 6.000 likes per shot.

Transgender actress Laverne Cox praised Smith for the ad in an Instagram post as well.

“@christiaingrey is giving me full life in this new @louisvuitton women’s ad campaign. #Genderfluidity #TransIsBeautiful #nonbinary #highfashion,” wrote Cox in a caption of Smith’s photo.
