A Houston man who infected his toddler niece and a 14-year-old girl with HIV will spend the rest of his life behind bars. The jury deliberated for an hour before finding David Wilson guilty of aggravated sexual assault Thursday (March 17), close to a decade after he was convicted and jailed for molesting another child.
Last November, Wilson’s sister’s 23-month-old daughter was diagnosed with HIV, herpes and chlamydia, which led to a police investigation of the adults in the home where the child was staying. Wilson was the only one whose test came back positive. The child had to undergo reconstructive genital surgery as a result, KTLA 5 reports.
His other victim, was the teenage daughter of a former girlfriend, also diagnosed with HIV, chlamydia and herpes. The girl revealed the sexual assault to a case worker. She had been having sex with Wilson for two years and was also pregnant.
