Chance the Rapper will become Chance the Actor next year with the feature film Slice.

With Chance the Rapper‘s career trajectory going the way it has, we should’ve been expecting a movie sooner or later.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the Chicago rapper will be making his feature film debut in a movie called Slice that will be released in 2017.

The film was shot in secret over the summer in Chicago. The movie takes place in an unnamed city and revolves around “an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys.”

Chance will play a werewolf named Dax Lycander who is a former Chinese food delivery driver.

The movie is produced by A24 [creators of Moonlight] and is written by frequent collaborator Austin Vesely who also directed Chance’s videos for “Sunday Candy” and “Angels.”

“Basically, these murders start happening and they hearken back to an incident that happened with him years before, and they arouse the town’s suspicions,” Vessey told Red Eye Chicago in an interview last year.
