Q-Tip just teased A Tribe Called Quest fans with the idea that the group could be releasing more music in the future.

A Tribe Called Quest continues to give all of us life. When we thought the group was done after Phife Dawg passed, they announced there was a new album on the way. When that assumed “final” album dropped, we got word there could be a world tour. Now, Q-Tip is insisting that ATCQ could be making a return but with a new appearance.

In an interview with BBC’s Annie Mack, Q-Tip talked about the making of their last album but he also dropped a gem. He says, “Stay tuned for any other incarnation because we don’t intend on stopping.”

He continued, “That was Phife’s M.O.: ‘This time we gotta do it and keep going.’ He’s left us with the equation of how do we do it, but we’re going to need it, and we’re going to continue.”

He didn’t offer any more details, but that’s more than enough to hang on to. With the success of Tribe’s most recent album, We Got It From Here…Thank You 4 Your Servicethere’s proof that the world still wants more from them.

This comes just weeks after it was announced that there was more solo Phife Dawg music coming next year, too.
