Doesn’t it feel like today’s rising stars were born from yester-year’s celebrities? When it comes to Quincyy that’s just the case.
The son of 90’s heartthrobe Al B. Sure has been making a name for himself on Fox’s new music series, Star, and today dropped by The Breakfast Club for a quick two on one interview.
Talking with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, Qunicy talks about his relationship with his father, growing up with the Combs family, and his memories of The Notorious B.I.G.
Here are the 7 things we learned from Quincy on The Breakfast Club.

Even though his father is Al B. Sure and Puff Daddy is his adoptive daddy, Quincy wanted to make it on his own in the music industry. He’s currently signed to Epic Records.
3. Friend Zone
He says he’s not having sex with any of the famous women he’s been seen with. That’s why he feels he’s been able to stay cool with them.
4. Growing Up Combs
Q says that he and the Combs kids grew up like regular kids. We find it kind of hard to believe that but they aren’t out there acting a fool so maybe it’s true.
5. Biggie
He still remembers Biggie picking him up as a child. When today’s rappers say they’re better than Big it makes him feel “some type of way.”
6. Daddy Issue
Q says he and Al B. Sure had a shaky relationship growing up but says they’re friends nowadays.
7. Light Skinned Representative
Qunicy is proud to be light-skinned and is looking forward to keeping them afloat. Charlamagne had to ask that question.
