The 2017 NBA Draft went down last night and as expected, the Lakers picked up Lonzo Ball with the no. 2 pick. But the biggest news of the night was the Chicago Bulls trading star guard Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Markelle Fultz and Ball went 1 and 2, while the Celtics picked up Duke star Jayson Tatum with the 3rd pick. Word is Kansas forward Josh Jackson, who got picked 4th by the Phoenix Suns, curved the Celtics by canceling his workout, so that was that.

However, the talk of the night was the Minnesota Timberwolves shipping Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine, along with their No. 7 NBA Draft Lauri Markkanen, to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Jimmy Butler and no. 16 draft pick Justin Patton.

Minnesota is still young and talent with Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Adding a vet like Jimmy Butler to the mix makes the squad that much better.

Needless to the say, there were plenty of reactions…
