So much for unity in Hip-Hop’s burgeoning youth movement, this after Kodak Black wrote off contemporaries Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty in a random freestyle rant recently. The South Florida rapper took to video to announce his new music moves before launching into the random attack.
Kodak Black took to Instagram Live recently to connect with the fans, randomly launching into a light freestyle about the aforementioned artists, as captured and posted by DJ Akademiks to his IG page.
“I don’t even listen to Uzi/These n*ggas d*ck in the booty/They confusing the community,” Kodak said, shortly after his new project announcement. He followed with, “I don’t even listen to Yachty/He don’t even be dropping no knowledge.”
What prompted the shots isn’t clear as it’s well known that Lil Yachty prefers to keep things drama free in his life and just wants to have fun. Neither Lil Uzi Vert or Yachty has dignified the struggle bars with a response but we’re anxiously waiting to see what happens next.
