Texas Man Accused Of Killing Sons Then Texting Picture To Mother
It seems we have forgotten the days where children would merely receive a “time-out.” A Texas man is currently facing capital murder charges and is held on $1.5 million bond after murdering his two sons and sending the disturbing visuals to their mother.
Gabriel Armandariz and his ex-girlfriend were due in court the following week to settle a custody battle, when the situation turned ugly and Gabriel took revenge.
Officials in Graham, Texas, found the bodies of their 2-year-old son, Gatlin, and 6-month- old Luke on Thursday morning. Police, however, refuse to release the gruesome details of how the deaths occurred.
“She showed me a picture of her son hanging. Neither of us believed it was real. You can’t imagine that to be real,” Douglas Ames said, after being shown the photo by the children’s mother at work.
A search began after a disturbing phone conversation followed the viewing of the pictures. The family claims that while the man was abusive towards the mother, he never exuded violence toward the children.
“Everybody is trying to do whatever we can to help,” Ames said. “The girl is just destroyed.”
