L.A. Reid Releases Statement On Epic Records
As previously report, L.A. Reid was officially announced as chairman and CEO of Epic Records earlier today.
In addition to the announcement, Reid released an official statement, speaking on his new position.

We are deeply committed to discovering and developing the next generation of superstars as well as implementing a fresh and innovative business model.
It is also my distinct pleasure to be once again joining Doug, who is an amazing leader and the most visionary and forward-thinking executive in the music entertainment industry.”
Previously, Reid served as chairman of Island Def Jam, president and CEO of Arista Records and was co-founder and co-president of LaFace Records.
