Brandy Signs With RCA/Chameleon Records

Singer Brandy recently inked a new recording contract with RCA/Chameleon Records.

After putting out her last LP Human on Epic Records in 2008, the 32-year-old singer has found a new label home.

“Brandy is a worldwide superstar, an award winning performer and a critically acclaimed talent,” said Tom Corson, President and COO, RCA Music Group.

“We are excited to welcome her to RCA Records and look forward to working with her on her new musical endeavors.”

The singer/actor is excited about moving forward with the next phase of her singing career.

“This is truly a blessing,” said Brandy of the new deal.

“Breyon Prescott, Peter Edge, and Tom Corson believe in me and have introduced me to a home that also believes and knows exactly what to do with the type of music I’m doing. Breyon and the team at RCA/Chameleon are creative and forward-thinking and I am thrilled to be working with them.”

Brandy is currently working on her sixth studio album due for release in early 2012.
