G-Dep Refuses Guilty Plea In Fatal Shooting Case

Rapper G-Dep is pleading not guilty to the fatal 1993 shooting of John Henkel even though he confessed to the charge two years ago.

The top count of murder in the second degree carries a max sentence of 25 years to life and that is the only plea the DA’s office is offering if Dep pleads guilty.

The 36-year-old rapper’s attorney Anthony Ricco feels like the case was ice cold if his client didn’t willingly turn himself in so the prosecutors should cut a deal.

So with that said, G-Dep is not pleading guilty and his fate will be settled in a court of law on November 10th.
