Brooklyn songbird Stacy Barthe is taking her talents to the limelight.
After penning songs for a slew of stars like Estelle, Rihanna and Katy Perry, she is stepping out from behind the scenes with her debut.
Releasing her Sincerely Yours EP this past August, the Surf Club affiliate has since garnered considerable attention among taste maker’s.
Stacy’s music is somewhat in the vain of Frank Ocean, with sentimentally induced production, and basic yet powerful lyrics.
In her new visuals for “Never Did,” a jaded Stacy croons of the emotions from that phone call that never came.
“As I lay restless waiting on my phone to ring /Never did ring, never did ring,” she sings.
