Kanye West Speaks On Grammy Snubs

Last night Kanye West visited the home-front, when the Watch The Throne Tour hit Chicago’s United Center.

Good for his eventful diversions, ‘Ye took a moment during the show to speak on the Grammy snub for Album of the Year, which overlooked his 2010 masterpiece My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. West places the blame on himself, using it only to fuel his creative fire.

“Something I figured out earlier today—because you know, everybody came to me last night like, ‘Congratulations!’ because you know I’m leading the Grammy nominations. Like we always do it at this time,” he said.

“But, people focus, they say, ‘You ain’t have Album of the Year or Record of the Year.’ But I figured out though, that’s my fault for dropping Watch the Throne and Dark Fantasy the same year. I should have just spaced it out a little bit more. But don’t worry, because me and Hov gon’ keep on making Isht.”

He may have missed a few of the major categories, but Kanye still came out on top with seven nominations.
