Andre 3000 Named Brand Ambassador of Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler

Andre “3000” Benjamin may not be ready to drop a new album just yet, but he’s still clocking major business deals. The Atlanta native is teaming with personal care product giant Gillette to promote their newest hair styling tool for men. Three Stacks has just been named as one of three brand ambassadors to endorse Gillette’s Fusion ProGlide Styler shaving tool.

The new campaign teams Benjamin, recently heard on B.o.B’s “Play The Guitar,” with actors Gael García Bernal, and Oscar winner Adrien Brody. Gillette opted to choose from an eclectic bunch who they feel most accurately represent their “Masters of Style” campaign, not only in grooming their facial hair but possessing tremendous talent, a strong sense of self, and a depth of character–among other qualities.

“I feel that personal style should always reflect who you are and be constantly evolving,” said the Outkast member in a statement. “Being part of Gillette’s ‘Masters of Style’ program was a natural choice for me because I enjoy the freedom of changing my appearance to suit my mood.”

In conjunction with the Fusion ProGlide Styler, Gillette will also release a non-foaming clear shave gel, which allows men to see exactly where to trim and edge their facial hair for the most accurate results. Both products will be available through various North American online and traditional retailers beginning in February.

But about that OutKast album…
