Pharrell Williams is a man of many hats…and shirts and pants and sneakers. As part of their Fashion & Style Blog, The New York Times had Skateboard P travel through his style log last week, detailing what he did and what he was wearing. The outfits and accessories were interesting – ranging from SpongeBob SquarePants during a meeting with Diplo to literally drawing the Chanel logo on a pair of Timberland boots. Pharrell started the week in Miami, two days later went to New York City for a photo shoot, only to head to Los Angeles the next day to rehearse for the Oscars.

While Pharrell’s clothing choices were versatile and varied (with the exception of frequent BBC add-ons from his own line), we also learn that he’s working with folky soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae. “We spoke yesterday on doing another track together,” Pharrell reveals in the piece. He also has a new Hip-Hop artist Buddy he’s working with. With frequent outfit changes, as well as artist changes throughout his studio sessions, Pharrell kept pretty busy. After all of that, he closes the piece with, “Lastly, I put on this white gold and diamond ring, superoversized – you know, for the sake of fashion.”
