Cee Lo Green may soon be able to add author to a list of hats that already includes rapper, singer, songwriter, actor and TV show host. The “F#ck You” crooner recently announced that he is co-penning his memoir, set to hit bookstores in 2013.

In a statement, via the Hollywood Reporter, the recent Grammy winner said of the book: “FORGET YOU? After reading my book, there will be no doubt that I am meant to be. You will enter into the supernatural, the surreal, and extraordinary. As CeeLo Green, a.k.a. ‘everybody’s brother,’ I will make you a believer. I talk about art imitating life; YOU discover CRAZY.”

Mr. Green will be writing the book along with Rolling Stone scribe David Wild. Goodie Mob member Gipp will also contribute “insight” to the book. Vice-President and Editor-in-Chief of Paperbacks at Grand Central Publishing, Beth de Guzman, who acquired the text, sounded excited about the prospects of a memoir about the The Voice judge. “He dresses in sequined capes, performs with the Muppets and Madonna, and does 360° flips with a grand piano at his fingertips. Imagine all that outrageously unique and creative talent channeled into a book,” said de Guzman.

Green has a full plate for 2012. As previously reported, Lo recently tweeted that he has a solo album entitled Everybody’s Brother and a Goodie Mob reunion album entitled Age Against The Machine in the works. He is also in his second season as a judge on The Voice.
