Lil Wayne Sued For Sleeping Through Concert Performance
In September 2008, Red City Entertainment claims it fronted Lil Wayne $210,000 to perform at a Bahamas concert. But when it came time for Wayne to light up the stage, he was nowhere to be found. When he didn’t show up for the gig, reports say authorities found the YM head passed out drunk in his hotel room. Weezy recently denied falling asleep on the job and said he didn’t show up because the concert was cancelled, though he can’t recollect why. Hmmm. Maybe because he was passed out drunk? Red City is seeking $432,000 for the money paid, hotel, travel and losses from the failed concert.
