“It’s about being and seeking perfection within myself,” Rick Ross told Hip-Hop Wired about his forthcoming God Forgive, I Don’t album shortly after the conclusion of his now infamous press conference. During the event. the Def Jam rapper likened his Maybach Music Group empire, which now officially includes R&B crooner Omarion aka Maybach O, to a “dream team.”

Right now, the “MC Hammer” rapper is gearing up for the release of Self Made, Vol. 2 on June 26th as well as the official debut of the scorching Meek Mill, whose Dreams & Nightmares is scheduled for August 28th. But Ross assures all the different projects MMG is currently cooking up won’t handicap his own solo career.

“I’ma handle mine,” Rozay told Hip-Hop Wired. “That’s why I expressed the term of being ‘self-made.’ You gotta carry your weight out here. Every man gotta carry his own weight, in life. In music I feel it’s the same thing applies. Other than that, the camaraderie there. Let’s do it. let’s get this music. Let’s turn up. Let’s shoot these videos.  It ain’t nothing we can’t do. That’s just my mindframe.”

Rick Ross’ highly anticipate fifth album, God Forgives, I Don’t, is out July 31st.
