This past weekend, The Roots hosted the 5th Annual Roots Picnic in their native Philadelphia. Among this year’s acts were Diplo, Danny Brown, Wale, Major Lazer, Rakim, and De La Soul. Here is some footage of Dave, Posdnuos, and Maseo rocking out with The Legendary Roots Crew. They even surprised fans by bringing out the artist formerly known as Mos Def, Yasiin Bey.
One act that supposed to roll through, but did not thanks to a suspect private jet, was Kid Cudi. Check out footage of De La and Bey’s sets after the jump.
