The current man of the hour, 2 Chainz, snags one half of the cover of The FADER. With Beach House sharing the other side of the magazine, Andrew Noz spoke with the most featured artist in Hip-Hop about the rise of the culture’s most unlikely superstar. Formerly one half of Playaz Circle, Tity opened up about the groups success, failure, and how it led him to be one of the biggest solo acts in hip-hop today. “People said [Playaz Circle] didn’t do good numbers-wise but I’m confident in the material even up to this day,” he says. “A lot of rappers who maybe didn’t [sell] well damn near committed suicide but I always thought there was something wrong with everybody else. They didn’t get it.”
