Hip-Hop Wired was the first to report that Meek Mill’s Dreams & Nightmares album was pushed back to the end of October, and now comes an official announcement. The Philly rapper and Rick Ross took to Twitter to reveal the date. “Finalword!!!RT @rickyrozay@MeekMill Dreams& Nightmares instores Oct. 30 !!! Eve of Halloween !!!”

The album was originally slated for release directly following his Dreamchasers 2 mixtape. When we caught up with Meek in May, he shared who will likely make his debut. “As far as features on my album I might have the hottest guys in the game that I got on the [mixtape]: Kendrick Lamar, Drake, 2 Chainz…all them guys on the mixtape, so most likely they might be appearing back on the album, but I don’t know for sure.”

In a separate interview Meek explained that he want to make an impactful record. “When I come out with my album, I want to have a classical album, [an] Illmatic, a Hard Knock Life, a Get Rich or Die Tryin’ type, a Hip-Hop album.”

If the success of Dreamchasers 2—which was downloaded more than 2 million times— is any indication of what the future holds for Meek, then things are looking pretty good.
