Until now, Wiz Khalifa has remained pretty quiet about the uproar surrounding the eccentric artwork for his highly anticipated LP, O.N.I.F.C. The “Work Hard” MC expressed how surprised he was by the public backlash in an interview with CivilTV.

“I do what I feel and then people react to it,” Khalifa told Karen Civil, “but then when I like sat down and thought about, I was like well whether they’re talking about how bad or how good it is, they’re talking about it and that becomes the thing for the day, the week, the month, however long it lasts.” Wiz finished his statements with, “I believe in it and that’s what’s most important.”

Civil inquired about the rumored “Work Hard” remix, which is said to feature Drake, Lil Wayne, and Young Jeezy. While Khalifa only confirmed Drake’s appearance on the track, he discussed how his long-time business relationship with the YMCMB MC led to the collaboration and ensured that his forthcoming album will be “ridiculous” in typical rapper fashion.

Live In Concert also came up in conversation, to which Wiz Khalifa basically reiterated Curren$y’s statements. We blame Lord Finesse. Still, the Pittsburgh MC remained steadfast in his claims that the project will release in due time, despite it’s initial August 20 release date.
