Joey BadA$$’ extremely impressive first effort, 1999found its way onto many top mixtape lists, including ours. He follows up that effort by going back a little bit with this new/old mixtape, Rejex. The mixtape features songs that didn’t make the cut on 1999, but he felt they were necessary to show the fans his progression so far.

He also placed songs on this mixtape that he recorded when he was 15 years old, as well as a few promotional singles for 1999. He’s come along way in a short time from getting clowned on MTV RapFix by Odd Future. Hit the jump to get the new effort from the Cinematic Music Group teenage prodigy.
