It is hard to find somebody who keeps it realer than Brooklyn’s Uncle Murda. The Epic Records rapper caught up with Hip-Hop Wired at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, which air tomorrow night, and talked about his upcoming mixtape hosted by the award show’s host, Mike Epps.

With the upcoming election coming up, we also spoke with Uncle Murda about an important topic his community, gun violence. “I hate the people that do the shooting and unnecessary people get hit, like they hit the wrong person,” said Murda. “I respect the ones that got issues and get the person they trying to hit I’m not saying it’s right, but if you got beef and you trying to shoot at least shoot the person you trying to shoot and not nobody else. I’m kind of 50/50 with it. ”

Uncle Murda’s mixtape hosted by Mike Epps, The First 48, is dropping soon. Hit below to check out the video.
