Joey Bad@$$ of Cinematic Music Group has signed a deal with Mountain Dew’s Green Label Sounds. The rising rapper out of Brooklyn, New York has been on the lips and ears of many Hip-Hop heads for a better part of the year.

This announcement comes off the heels of the rapper appearing on the BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher. His critically acclaimed mixtape, 1999, has been in heavy rotation and atop plenty of critics “best of” lists in 2012.

On deciding to partner with Green Label Sound for his next single this Fall, Joey added, “I’m really excited to be working with Green Label Sound on this track. It’s gonna be dope and I get to work with someone I consider an icon.” Who knows who the kid will grab up for the single, but it looks to be exciting. Stay tuned.
