After an album’s worth of loose singles, bonus cuts and even some songs that made the final tracklist, Roc Marciano’s sophomore album, Reloaded, will be in stores tomorrow. But if you can’t wait until then, the full album stream is available here.

Says SPIN, who provides the Soundcloud stream:

It’s appropriate, then, that a sample from the 1981 crime flick and character study Thief begins “Wee III,” a track from Marciano’s new album Reloaded — Michael Mann’s subtle slow-burn fits the New York rapper/producer’s boom-bap quite well. Marciano’s production style is to chop samples until they’re nothing more than an eerie pulse, and to edit his raps until they’re just a series of seething asides and punch-you-in-the-gut poetic descriptors.

Yep.

Production for the project is mostly handled by Marci but also features production from Q-Tip (“Thread Count”), the Arch Druids, the Alchemist and Ray West. The guest list as far as rapper is also limited to just Ka and Knowledge The Pirate.

Listen to the entire album below. Just think, he has another five more albums in the stash. Now you can’t say that starkly vivid hard body Hip-Hop is anything but a thing of the past.
