It’s a safe bet that Pusha T is a fan of The Wire. While performing at the Best Buy Theater in NYC at VIBE magazine’s V-Mixer concert, Push A Ton announced that the title of his forthcoming album is My Name Is My Name.

Before the G.O.O.D. Music rapper drops his album, he will be releasing a mixtape called Wrath Of Caine before 2012 is up. Which also makes us wonder if and when we’ll ever get the Re-Up Gang project that’s reportedly going to be called Long Live The Caine.

My Name Is My Name will be in stores in early 2013. If you’re up on your The Wire lore, you’ll recognize the title references a quote the character Marlo Stanfield uttered when he got word that Omar Little was sullying his name on the streets.

Check out footage of Pusha, A-Trak and A$AP Mob performing at the V-Mixer concert below.
