Erykah Badu appeared in a Dallas court room Wednesday to plead not guilty to a charge she faced following her controversial “Window Seat” video.

As previously reported Badu was charged with disorderly conduct after a witness came forward complaining of the singer stripping naked in front of a crowd of people at Dallas’ Dealey Plaza where President John F. Kennedy was killed.

If convicted of the misdemeanor Badu will be forced to pay a $500 fine.

Badu reportedly picked Dealy Plaza as the location because “it’s one of the most popular places in the city.”

The video most likely holds a higher message however and shows her being assassinated with the words “Group Think” spilling out of her head.
