After less than a month on the charts, Nicki Minaj’s debut Pink Friday has been certified gold pushing past 500,000 albums sold.
Barbie stands at the #6 Billboard spot after moving 81,900 additional copies last week outselling Kanye for the first time since the two albums were released on the same day by close to 16,000 copies.
In related news, Minaj is set to bring in the new year with a performance on “NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.”
The show airs New Years Eve 10:00pm EST.
