Sultry singer Erykah Badu has long been known as a fan of hip-hop, but who knew she could get down on the ones and twos? The vocalist has now taken her hobby to the next level becoming a full-fledged member of the Core DJs.

Core founder Tony Neal reported the news via his Twitter page:

“Big move today. @fatbellybella [Erykah Badu] in the Core. My sis is a serious DJ.”

Badu who goes by the alias DJ Loretta Brown then responded,

“I am honored and do not take it for granted. b-girl for life . head wrapped and strapped.”


Badu is even reportedly scheduled to DJ three gigs in her hometown of Dallas during Super Bowl weekend.
