Harlem rapper and Internet Hip-Hop phenom Azealia Banks has inked a new recording deal. Today, the precocious female MC of “212” fame, who was previously signed to XL Recordings, took to the new age Hip-Hop press release, Twitter, to officially announce that she has signed with Universal Music.
Recently Banks—no relation to Lloyd Banks, we think—threw some shots at Kreayshawn and Nicki Minaj. 2012 is already shaping up to be a good year for this 20 year-old on the come up.
