M.I.A. is officially a member of the Roc. The British rapper has signed to Roc Nation Management, according to the company’s websiteAfter a brief hiatus, the 36-year-old has been busy getting back into the swing of things. She performed at the Super Bowl alongside Madonna and Nicki Minaj in February, designed a bottle of Beck’s Beer, and recently tapped Missy Elliott, Rye Rye and Azealia Banks for her “Bad Girls” remix. As for her new release, Mantangi , M.I.A. is still in the process of putting the music together, and has yet to reveal and official release date for the project. “I’ve been working on the songs by myself for awhile,” she told Spin. “Towards the end I got [producer] Switch to sort of bring it together and contribute new songs for it as well, but also just help me pull mine together so it’s a bit more like… well, it’s just nice to get another opinion. But I’m trying to work with tons of people, I don’t really wanna say any names because I haven’t actually chosen what songs are going on it yet.”

As the newest edition to the RN roster M.I.A. joins the likes of Meek Mill, Rihanna, Melanie Fiona, Ester Dean, Santigold, and more.
