Today is a good day for Usher—and his fans. The 33-year-old was granted primary custody of his sons over his ex-wife Tameka Raymond, and just dropped the visual for his “Dive” single off his Looking 4 Myself album.
Released in June, Looking 4 Myself marks Usher’s fourth consecutive No. 1 release. Although it failed to surpass Raymond vs. Raymond sales, the release pushed 128,000 copies in its first week, and has since fallen out of the Top 10. As of August, Looking 4 Myself has sold over 300,000 copies.
“Dive” re-teams Usher with Rico Love and producer Jim Jonsin, while the video plays up the nautical theme. Model Chanel Iman joins Usher for the steamy shoot, which shows them getting ultra-close on a boat that eventually fills up with water.
Leading up to the visual debut, Usher teased fans with quotes about stepping out on a ledge. “We determine our destination, what kind of road we will take, and how happy we are when we arrive.. Take that #Dive?” He wrote on Facebook and Twitter this week.
Go ahead and take that “Dive,” you know you want to.
