For some time now, there has been an elephant in the room, for lack of a better term, regarding a few Hip-Hop elder statesmens’ latest releases. Rap Radar’s Elliott Wilson cited three that met his disapproval in the inaugural episode of his new web series The Truth, with Life+Times. On this episode YN discusses LL Cool J’s “Ratchet”, Fat Joe’s “Instagram That Hoe”, and Eve’s “She Bad Bad”, posing the question “Are veteran MCs trying too hard?”
