Katt Williams is a funny guy, but at this point, nobody’s laughing. The pint-sized comedian, was arrested early Thursday (Nov. 15), for allegedly hitting a man in the head with a bottle, and went crazy at the very thought of being taken into custody.
In video footage obtained by TMZ, Williams is so irate that he decides to cancel his Oakland, Calif. show, scheduled for tonight at the Oracle Arena. “Call Live Nation, call the radio station, tell ’em the show is canceled. Oakland Police just arrested me,” he calmly said, before getting all the way turn’t up screaming something about “four dudes,” and R&B, then threatening to “beat the breaks off” somebody…in a rap contest.
No one is sure what is the direct cause of his downward spiral (but we all have an idea). Williams has been arrested on numerous occasions, was placed in a mental hospital at one point, and is being sued by a former assistant for allegedly attacking her in October.
He has not released a statement on his latest public meltdown, but maybe it’s time to get off the stage, kick back for a while, and let this whole thing blow over.
