Sean Price in a lumberjack shirt with an axe in hand and a tied up hostage? Just the treatment for the video for “Genesis of the Omega” from his Mic Tyson album.

The song is just Sean P slinging bars at a gully instrumental hooked up by the Alchemist that flex his above average rhyme talents. In his own words:

The Genesis of the Omega sounded better than the start of the ending. I was just trying to be slick with the words. The Genesis, you know that’s the beginning of The Bible. The Omega, that’s the end. On some punk sh-t, read too many comic books. lol” – Sean P!

Who else could make a simple line like, “Bootcamp for life B, nine times out of 10, you can catch me in Nikes,” sound so fresh? You’ll be able to catch the Brownsville rapper at the ‘Lo End Theory event on January 20th in NYC. And if you haven’t already, you can cop Mic Tyson here.
