Looks like everybody is feeling Drake’s “Started from the Bottom” vibe. Wiz Khalifa was so moved by the concept that he provided his own version, and Soulja Boy has made the same move.

The Atlanta native dropped his installment of Drizzy’s newly released joint.

What begins as if it will be a decidedly mature and reflective attempt, quickly turns into just another Soulja Boy track.”Soulja Boy stay up on his grind, hustlin’ every day man/I do this all the time.”

Unlike Drizzy, who connects with the emotion tied to his career success on the original, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em lacks a similar depth. Be on the listen for lots of talk about diamonds, and stacks of cash– but in a less inspired, and more boastful manner, than that of the Tornoto native.

With that said, Soulja Boy’s interpretation of “Started from the Bottom” is certainly not the worst thing he’s ever done. “A” for effort.
