Last week Papoose announced that his long delayed debut album Nacirema Dream would finally see the light of day in coming weeks. If that wasn’t surprising enough, the Brooklyn MC follows said news with the project’s first official single “Whats My Name.”

Papoose’s incarcerated boo Remy Ma is featured on the track, which samples the O’Jays’ classic hit “For the Love of Money.” The couple shoots down rumors of infidelity in their relationship by reaffirming that they’re a stronger unit than ever before.

Nacirema Dream, available for pre-order on iTunes, will hit stores March 26. The project features guest appearances from Erykah Badu, Jadakiss, Jim Jones, Mobb Deep, Mavado and more. In a manifesto that paired with the album’s announcement, Papoose explained “I [sic] been working on this album my entire life, those of you who followed me over the years know and have the material to prove it.”

Listeners will have to wait a few weeks to be the judge of that, but be sure to check out “Whats My Name” below in the mean time.
