The Los Angeles Leakers got their hands on an official remix to Kid Ink‘s debut single “Bad A$$.” A few slight cosmetic differences may give this version the upper hand verses the original, which featured Meek Mill and Wale.

Beat-wise, the track drops the trap influences heard on the first and hones in on Kid Ink’s west coast roots with comfy synth chords. The RCA Records signee also swapped out the aforementioned MMG artists for shiny new verses from Compton rappers YG and Problem. With that, fans receive a tune made for a popping BBQ or a summer night on the stoop.

“I’m feeling like the man of the hour, tear down the house/ Throwin’ this money like it’s no running out/ Okay, but I wanna know, can you get any higher?/ And drop it down the pole like it’s a fire,” chants a catchy chorus that listeners will be singing in no time.

Fans looking for more music will have to remain patient, because there’s been no work on Kid Ink’s currently untitled debut album. Hear the “Bad A$$” remix below.
