As promised, Young Jeezy delivers a free EP called #Itstheworld. Consider this a step into the future for his CTE World label.
The project features only 6 songs, three of which feature the Snowman’s latest signees Doughboyz Cashout.
Frequent collaborator YG also spearheads two tracks on the offering. He and Jeezy have been very chummy as of late, so this could be his formal introduction as a member of CTE. That’s just an observation, though.
Atlanta up-and-comer Rich Homie Quan, Juicy J, and Yo Gotti make the cypher complete on the feature tip. The closing track “4 What” will also be the leading single for DJ Drama’s forthcoming album, Quality Street Music 2.
#Itstheworld creates a platform for Jeezy’s newly assembled CTE. After parting ways with former cohort Freddie Gibbs, the Georgia rapper embedded his dedication “to the commitment of finding, developing and launching the careers of new talent on a worldwide platform.”
