Frank Ocean‘s open letters are an integral aspect of his narrative, and yesterday, he delivered another. Like always, the channel ORANGE mastermind delivered this update, of sorts, via his Tumblr page.
Like his previous pieces, this letter is well-written and often longwinded, but it does give fans a look at where Ocean is mentally. The Grammy winner wrote this piece while on his “You’re Not Dead” tour, which he revealed to be totally funded by himself.
He says the string of shows aren’t to support any album — new or old — despite the fact that he’s premiered a few assumedly new tracks during the course of his performances.
