Gunplay is unquestionably one of the most intriguing artists to emerge in some time. Known as being a loose cannon, the rising Maybach Music Group star has developed a reputation for his issues with the law as well as his music. Don Logan sat down with The Combat Jack Show and talked about his legal issues, losing his MMG chain and more.

Hamming it up in his appearance, Gunplay wasted no time in addressing his recent case dismissal and taking things easy after facing serious prison time.

“I’m smiling a little bit more, dog,” said Gunplay, explaining to the host how the experience changed him. “Everybody go through sh-t, dog. It’s just how you get through that sh-t. It’s not that serious. If I’m not going to die about that sh-t or I’m not going to jail about that sh-t, I’m not sweating that sh-t.”

The self-professed Human L.A. Riot also mentioned his loyalty to Rick Ross and avoiding false alliance in the rap game. But Gunplay turned heads when he spoke on allegedly getting his MMG chain lifted by Ross rival, 50 Cent.

“I’m fighting. Nobody took nothing from me,” Gunplay confirmed. “I Iost that sh-t, and a n-gga picked it up.

Gunplay talks about working with the MMG, missing out on tours and more in the first of the three-part interview.
