In late June, Dreamchasers artist Lil Snupe was shot dead after an argument stemming from a bet on a video game. Since then, Meek Mill has done all in his power to keep the fallen rapper’s name alive, and continues to do so today with a new track called “Lil N***a Snupe.”
The MMG affiliate previewed this tune weeks ago via Instagram, but the brief audio didn’t scratch the surface of his bars. Meek flexes his usually dexterous flow over production byBoi-1da and The Maven Boys.
“They killed my lil’ n***a Snupe, my little n***a was the truth/And all he wanted was coupe, all he wanted was coupe/So what’s a n***a supposed to do/Tell em put the guns down or tell these lil n***as shoot/Cause they’ll do the same to me, do the same s**t to you,” chants the Philly rapper on the chorus.
