Jordan Brand held their Holiday Preview for press today (Sept 24.). Of all the kicks and gear we got a sneak peak at, one shoe that particularly caught our eye was Carmelo Anthony‘s Jordan Melo M10 signature sneaker.
The shoe won’t be available until 2014, but from the looks of the model it is easily one of Anthony’s best looking shoes to date. Technology wise, it incorporates the Flight Plate technology that was debuted in the Jordan XX8. A particularly nice detail was the the “M” seamlessly designed into the toe box when you’re looking down at the show when wearing it. The silver rendition of Melo’s name in script serves as the heel counter. Expect to see Melo rocking these himself around Christmas time.
Also worth noting, as rumored, Anthony’s Melo 1.5 will be getting the retro treatment, the first for a Jordan Brand player who isn’t the Jumpman logo himself.
