Happy Friday people. By now, we assume that you’re either winding down from a long week or gearing up to celebrate the weekend’s arrival, but before you pick your poison, lend your ear to best music the past seven days had to offer via The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.
Again, we’ve aggregated a list of tracks that were standouts among the fluff that hits the Internets each day. This edition of our revolving series features tracks from an array of MCs. It’s worth noting that a few New York City spitters let their voices be heard on separate quality releases. You may also hear more than one track by a worthy Midwest native, who’s bound to reach stardom sooner or later.
Those are all the clues you’re getting out of us this go around. For more, hit the list after the jump. Let us know your thoughts or if we missed anything in the comments.

Freddie Gibbs – “Deuces”
Gangsta Gibbs’ consistency is sorely unsung. How can anyone deny tracks like this?
Logic ft. Casey Veggies – “Like Me”
Naysayers may have their thoughts about this XXL Freshman, but his bars are undeniable.
Maffew Ragazino – “La Cosa Nostra”
This smooth track dons a street sentiment that Brooklyn should be proud of.
Vic Mensa & Clams Casino – “Egyptian Cotton”
The rising Chicago MC isn’t playing. He’s all about his business (and bars) on this new collaborative track with the underrated producer.
Future ft. Yo Gotti – “Day 1”
It’s a certain raw energy that attracts listeners to Future’s trap tunes. Add Gotti to the fold, and you have a winner as you see above.
Attitude ft. Timbaland & Twista – “Stunt”
Timbaland’s weekly releases haven’t particularly been our cup of tea, but thing one bangs for sure. Turn your volume up before pressing play.
Elzhi – “The Recap”
The Detroit lyricist kept his rhymes short, but sweet here. That had no bearing on the potency of his message, though.
Vic Mensa – “She Loves The Mirror”
Yes, Mensa appears on this list twice. Problem?
Skyzoo & Antman Wonder ft. Diizco – “Conversing On Coming Up”
An Ode To Reasonable Doubt is one of the best projects we heard this week. Hear perhaps the best track it has to offer below.
A$AP Mob ft. A$AP Nast & Method Man – “Trillmatic”
This should quiet the murmors of those who scrutinize A$AP Mob for creating music with a southern feel. This is so New York City.
