Rihanna’s unfortunate encounter with Chris Brown’s fists has served as an unintentional inspiration for future domestic violence victims of the generation.

Mori Gabriella Montgomery is a survivor and she’s not sweeping her story of being brutally beaten by her boyfriend under the rug. She’s using her Instagram account as a harsh reminder on how ugly physical relationships can be.

The 19-year-old aspiring model was allegedly pushed out of a moving vehicle in Las Vegas by her boyfriend during a verbal altercation at the end of February. It left her with serious case of road rash, a neck brace and patches of scarring but her spirit is far from damaged.

Mori Gabriella Montgomery, 19, has been updating nearly 10,000 followers on her social media accounts with her progress since the brutal attack last month that nearly left her dead.

The 19-year-old said she had been with her boyfriend for about eight months before he brutally attacked her in February.

“He was always jealous and extra aggressive,” she told news.com.au. “We were playing one day and he slapped me really hard. He apologized straight after, so I didn’t think anything of it, really, until this happened.”

Montgomery said in another note uploaded to her Twitter account that her boyfriend began accusing her of cheating on him when he attacked her inside during a drive.

“I was kicked out of a moving vehicle, then beaten and dragged, as I blacked out and was left lying there in my own puddle of blood,” she wrote. “Doctors said I could have died.”

The abusive boyfriend was never identified or arrested but Montgomery still plans to press charges against him. In a recent video update via her Instagram account, she tells her followers “Thanks for praying for me; God is good” as she flashes the various healed wounds around her body for the camera.

Hit the gallery to see how extensive her injuries truly were. It’s easier said than done but if you’re in an abusive or destructive relationship, it’s better to bounce than to break.
