Famed pro skateboarder Stevie Williams is branching out a bit from his DGK brainchild and delving into another brand that represents the culture that has made him a valuable entity (along with a very rich man).
Asphalt Yacht Club is the name and diversity and individualism is their aim and aspirations with the Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
In regards to the new threads, Williams spoke confidently in the press release saying, “I’m psyched on this entire collection, but most especially, the exclusive Alan Forbes graphic. Riley (Hawk) and “Figgy” (Justin Figuera) both love his artwork. The fact that we pulled it off for them is dope. This collection is a direct reflection of our passion for art, streetwear and skateboarding.”
Williams didn’t have to look far for the models as he’s recruited his trusty team of pros in Nyjah Huston, Blake Carpenter and Ben Nordberg to reflect the lines of Altered States, Camo, Ice, Spider and more rather flawlessly.
