Sneakerheads who hoped to save their pences should think again, as Nike is set to release an Air Jordan “Carmine” collection. Comprised of a classic Air Jordan VI Retro and a fresh take on the Air Jordan I, the shoes are set to hit retailers in the coming weeks.

The “Carmine” is a highly lauded sneaker in the Air Jordan cannon, because of they’ve only been retroed once back in 2008. The red suede and white leather upper is accentuated with touches of black on the tongue and heel tab, as well as the Jordan logo on the lace padding and lace lock. With black and white stripping on the midsole, the kicks are capped off with a icy blue sole.

The Air Jordan Is are a mirror image of the original kicks, which will be a hit for some and a miss to others.

Expect the “Carmine” collection on shelves Saturday, May 24. They’ll be sold separately at $170 (Air Jordan VI) and $140 (Air Jordan I), respectively.
